Delhi NCR to see light rain on Aug 4 as IMD issues yellow alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast light to moderate rain across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Monday, 4 August. A yellow alert was issued for the area, with expected temperatures of about 32 °C and humidity reaching 90 % in the morning and up to 95 % later in the day.

The department said cloud cover will persist throughout the week, bringing intermittent showers that should provide relief from the recent heat wave. Officials advised residents to stay hydrated, limit exposure to direct sunlight and follow traffic guidance during the rain.
