Delhi-NCR weather shifts as monsoon ends
Following the withdrawal of the monsoon, weather patterns in the Delhi-NCR region and Uttar Pradesh are beginning to shift. While daytime temperatures remain warm, residents are experiencing slight cooling during the mornings and evenings.
According to forecasts from the India Meteorological Department, temperatures are expected to fluctuate between 21°C and 34°C over the coming days. Light rain or drizzle is possible in parts of Delhi-NCR around October 9, with partly cloudy skies expected to persist through mid-October. Wind speeds of approximately 20 to 25 km/h are anticipated, which may provide relief from humidity and heat.
The increased wind speeds are also expected to impact air quality by helping to disperse pollutants, potentially leading to changes in the Air Quality Index (AQI) across the region.
