Overview

The Delhi-NCR region has undergone several weather transitions as the southwest monsoon withdrew and seasonal patterns shifted. Despite this improvement, pollution levels remain inconsistent across the region, with monitoring stations such as IIT Delhi and Alipur reporting AQI levels in the ‘poor’ category, exceeding 200. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts partly cloudy skies with temperatures between 16°C and 33°C. While immediate rainfall is not expected, a depression in the Bay of Bengal is projected to intensify into a cyclonic storm by October 27, which may influence regional weather patterns.
