Delhi Police resolve murder, stabbing, and major theft cases

Delhi authorities have resolved several distinct criminal cases involving murder, assault, and theft.

In the Anand Parbat area, police arrested 24-year-old Chandrapal Bhati for the alleged murder of his wife. Following a report that a woman was found unresponsive, investigators used technical intelligence to trace the suspect to Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, within 16 hours. The suspect allegedly confessed to strangling his wife following marital disputes.

In Kanhaiya Nagar, a fatal stabbing occurred outside a liquor shop following a dispute over a matchbox. The altercation left 30-year-old Bhawani dead and 32-year-old Asha Ram injured. Police have taken three individuals into custody, including two 19-year-olds, in connection with the attack.

Additionally, Delhi Police arrested a 23-year-old domestic worker, Vishal Kumar, for a theft in Kirti Nagar. Kumar allegedly stole cash and gold jewelry valued at approximately Rs 40 lakh. Police recovered the stolen items, a pistol, and a motorcycle purchased with the stolen funds after tracing him to Aligarh.
