Criminal investigations and arrests in Delhi

Delhi authorities have reported the resolution of several distinct criminal cases involving murder, assault, and theft.

In the Anand Parbat area, police arrested 24-year-old Chandrapal Bhati for the alleged murder of his wife. Investigators used technical intelligence to locate the suspect in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, within 16 hours of the report. The suspect allegedly confessed to strangling his wife following marital disputes.

In Kanhaiya Nagar, a fatal stabbing occurred outside a liquor shop following a dispute over a matchbox. The altercation resulted in the death of 30-year-old Bhawani and left 32-year-old Asha Ram injured. Police have taken three individuals into custody, including two 19-year-olds, in connection with the attack.

Additionally, police arrested 23-year-old Vishal Kumar for a theft in Kirti Nagar. Kumar allegedly stole cash and gold jewelry valued at approximately Rs 40 lakh. Authorities recovered the stolen items, a pistol, and a motorcycle purchased with the funds after tracing him to Aligarh.
