India police conduct multiple raids against narcotics, counterfeit currency, and adulteration rings

Law enforcement agencies across India have conducted several operations targeting various criminal activities, including narcotics trafficking, counterfeit currency, and food adulteration.

In Nashik, Maharashtra, police dismantled a counterfeit currency ring, arresting five individuals. The gang allegedly used chemicals to transfer ink from real notes to new paper to produce fake Rs 500 notes. In Mumbai, the Samta Nagar Police arrested a man for adulterating branded milk with impure water.

In Delhi, police busted an international charas trafficking network, seizing 106 kg of the substance worth approximately Rs 100 crore. The syndicate reportedly moved drugs from Nepal to Delhi using digital platforms to coordinate.

Other notable arrests include the seizure of heroin in Arunachal Pradesh and marijuana in Jammu. Additionally, police in West Delhi apprehended three men for transporting banned Chinese manjha, and a wanted criminal was apprehended on the Yamuna Expressway after an altercation with Delhi Police. In Rajasthan, an interstate ATM robber wanted in multiple cases across Delhi and Haryana was also arrested.
