Delhi University sees 45,300 undergraduates confirm seats in CSAS round 1

More than 45,300 candidates have confirmed their undergraduate admissions to Delhi University after paying fees in the first round of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The university reported 45,316 confirmations as of 7 p.m. on July 20, representing 48.71 % of the 93,033 seats allocated in this round.

The deadline for fee payment for the first round is 11:59 p.m. on July 21. A second allocation list is scheduled for release on July 25, with the new academic session set to begin on July 28. The first round allocations were made from more than 2.08 million applicants who completed Phase II of the process, covering 221 programmes across 67 colleges for the 2026‑27 session.
