Delhi weather forecast predicts warmer temperatures and declining air quality
Delhi is expected to experience warmer weather and partly cloudy skies following recent rainfall and thunderstorms. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts dry weather for the national capital, with no rainfall expected until October 22. Maximum temperatures are projected to rise to between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius by October 21 and 22.
While recent precipitation temporarily dispersed pollutants, air quality is expected to deteriorate as conditions become drier. Pollution levels remain in the ‘very poor’ category, driven by vehicular emissions, road dust, and construction activities.
Other northern and eastern Indian states will see varied conditions. Himachal Pradesh may see isolated afternoon showers, while Uttarakhand expects clear skies and cool temperatures. Haryana is forecast to be sunny and warm, and West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience warm weather with hazy sunshine.
