Delta Air Lines launches nonstop Los Angeles–Manila service starting March 2027

Delta Air Lines will begin a nonstop flight between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Manila (MNL) on 28 March 2027, using Airbus A350‑900 aircraft. The service will start with three weekly flights and expand to daily operations from 7 June 2027. The route will be offered in four cabin classes, including Delta One business class, and will feature free Wi‑Fi for SkyMiles members.

The Philippine Department of Tourism welcomes the new service, citing benefits for travelers, overseas Filipino workers, and the Filipino‑American community. The airline expects the route to boost tourism, business travel, and economic ties between the United States and the Philippines, making Manila the only Philippine destination with a direct U.S. carrier besides Philippine Airlines.
