Delta Air Lines unveils major Delta One premium cabin upgrade
Delta Air Lines has announced a major overhaul of its Delta One premium cabin, marking its most significant service renovation in nearly 30 years. The upgrade focuses on enhancing the long-haul experience through redesigned suite architecture featuring full-height sliding privacy doors, improved ergonomics, and 21-inch 4K displays.
In-flight improvements include chef-curated dining options, such as wagyu beef, and enhanced wellness amenities through partnerships with luxury brands like Missoni. Passengers will also benefit from increased customization, including the ability to select meals up to 18 hours before departure. The rollout will begin this autumn on transoceanic routes departing from Los Angeles, with a global expansion planned through 2027.
The investment extends to ground services, with the airline accelerating the development of private lounges at major hubs including Los Angeles, Boston, and Seattle. Additionally, Delta is expanding its partnership with Porsche, increasing its fleet of hybrid vehicles at 15 airports to 70 by 2028 to support its VIP Select service.
