Delta State Academics Coalition Partners with Dennis Osadebay University

The Coalition of Academics for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, coordinated by Professor Lawrence Omo‑Aghoja, met with Vice Chancellor Professor Samuel Ovuete Aghalino of Dennis Osadebay University in Asaba. The coalition asked the university to partner in promoting evidence‑based public discourse, democratic governance and sustainable development in Delta State.

It plans a strategic workshop and conference for the last week of September, inviting academics, policymakers, professionals and political leaders to assess the state government's performance in infrastructure, human‑capital development, peace and security, and policy implementation. The coalition has already consulted the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, the Speaker and members of the Delta State House of Assembly, and key commissioners to build support for its mission.
