The Delta State Police Command has detained Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, the Commissioner for Secondary Education, along with three other suspects regarding the death of Unity Ekpevbughe Adeda. Adeda served as a Deputy Director in the Delta State Ministry of Secondary Education.

This latest development brings the total number of individuals in police custody to five. Authorities are currently searching for two additional individuals deemed necessary to the investigation: Clementine Ufuoma, the Director of Basic and Secondary Education, and Clement Apia, the Commissioner’s driver.

Commissioner of Police Samuel E. Erale has urged the remaining suspects to report to the command immediately. The police command stated that the investigation will be conducted professionally and impartially to ensure justice is served.
