Delta State Governor Oborevwori Approves Aid for 533 Law Graduates

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved financial assistance for 533 indigenes who graduated from the Nigerian Law School in the 2025 session. The aid, announced by the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, aims to support human‑capital development and relieve the financial burden on newly qualified lawyers.

Beneficiaries must submit required documents electronically between July 23 and July 29, 2026, including the admission letter, Certificate of Call to the Bar, valid identification, local‑government ID and bank details, to dsbb@deltastate.gov.ng. The board directed queries to Otogie Godspower (070 3742 9816). Executive Secretary Godfrey Enita said the initiative reflects the administration’s MORE Agenda, stating, “The MORE Agenda places premium on human capital development and the empowerment of young Delta indigenes.”
