Demba Diop joins KIRAAY political movement

Demba Diop, the mayor of Tivaouane also known as ‘Diop Sy’, has announced his decision to join KIRAAY – Les Patriotes républicains. The movement aligns itself with the political dynamic of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

Diop’s move is viewed as a significant reinforcement for the presidential camp, particularly due to his political and economic influence in Tivaouane and the broader Thiès region. KIRAAY aims to use this local leadership to expand its national presence and consolidate its territorial footprint within Senegal.
