Democratic Party flag stolen from Castelfranco headquarters

The flag of the Democratic Party (PD) was stolen from the party headquarters in Castelfranco di Sopra during the night between Wednesday and Thursday. Local representatives reported the incident to the authorities, noting that the flagpole was left bent in half.

Party Secretary Stefania Pini and other representatives condemned the act, stating that whether it was a prank or a deliberate attempt to send a political message, it is a serious matter that cannot be dismissed lightly. The party emphasized that political symbols and headquarters are essential components of democratic dialogue and community life.

Despite the theft, the PD stated that the incident would not intimidate them or cause them to retreat from their political activities. Instead, they expressed a commitment to remain present and engaged with the community during difficult national and local times.
