Demon Slayer franchise expands with home video launch and Switch 2 game release

The anime film *Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle* will be released on Blu‑ray and DVD in Japan on 29 July 2026, with the disc also appearing on Crunchyroll’s streaming catalogue the same day. The limited editions include exclusive artwork featuring characters such as Tanjiro, Giyu, and Zenitsu, and the film previously earned over $10 million in Spain and roughly $793 million worldwide.

A related development is the upcoming native version of *Guardians of the Night – Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Chronicles of Hinokami 2* for Nintendo Switch 2. The game is slated for a Japanese launch on 29 October, will be sold in a physical format, and is priced at 7 810 yen (about €42). An upgrade path for owners of the original hybrid version has also been confirmed.
