Demon Slayer: Hinokami Chronicles 2 Switch 2 Edition slated for Oct 29 2026 release

Aniplex announced that the action game *Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2* will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on 29 October 2026. Reservations began on 29 June 2026, with retailer‑specific bonuses such as exclusive stickers, acrylic stands and badge sets.

The Switch 2 edition adds a “Infinity Castle” character pass that introduces seven new fighters—Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Giyu, Shinobu, Doma, Akaza and Kaigaku—bringing the total roster to 54 characters. The game runs at higher resolution and a steady 60 fps, offering smoother combat and improved visual fidelity. An upgrade pack will also be released on the same day for owners of the original Switch version, allowing them to access the enhanced features.

The title is developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Aniplex, targeting players 17 and older (CERO D).
