Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle breaks Netflix viewership records

The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle film trilogy is achieving significant commercial success. The first film in the series has broken viewership records on Netflix, accumulating 11.8 million viewing hours within its first 15 days. Despite limited availability on the platform—which excludes markets such as Japan, mainland China, and India—the film reached the global Top 10 for non-English language movies for two consecutive weeks. It saw particularly high popularity in Southeast Asian markets, including the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia.

As the franchise moves toward the second part of the trilogy, which will adapt chapters 158 to 183 of Koyoharu Gotoge’s original manga, fans are anticipating key battles. The upcoming installment is expected to feature major confrontations involving characters such as Inosuke Hashibira, Kanao Tsuyuri, and Mitsuri Kanroji against the Upper Rank demons. The series continues to drive high engagement across streaming platforms, with related content also seeing high ratings on Crunchyroll.
