Dengeki Daisy anime adaptation set for January 2027 premiere

An anime adaptation of Kyousuke Motomi’s shojo manga, ‘Dengeki Daisy’, is scheduled to premiere in January 2027. The series will run for approximately six months, spanning two consecutive cours.

Studio DEEN is handling the animation, with Sota Ueno serving as director. The production team includes Sawako Hirabayashi for series composition, Ayaka Murakami for character design, and Masaru Yokoyama for music. Crunchyroll has confirmed it will provide a simulcast for the series.

The story follows Teru, an orphan who finds support through text messages from a mysterious figure known as ‘DAISY’ via a mobile phone left by her late brother. As Teru begins working for a school janitor named Kurosaki, she begins to question the true identity of her digital confidant.
