Deniz Yavuzyılmaz calls for questioning of Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya

Deniz Yavuzyılmaz, the YENİ Party Zonguldak Member of Parliament, has called for the immediate questioning of former minister and former AK Party Deputy Chairperson Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya regarding an ongoing fund investigation.

Yavuzyılmaz stated that failing to take Kaya’s statement results in an “irreparable loss of time and evidence” that prevents the truth from being uncovered. He argued that the investigation must look beyond the recovery of illicit gains to uncover the political and bureaucratic connections involved in the alleged fund misappropriation.

The MP emphasized that the investigation should identify other politicians and bureaucrats who may have been in contact or cooperation with Kaya, asserting that covering up the political dimension of the probe would be a crime.
