Denizli Chamber of Commerce announces major regional development projects

Uğur Erdoğan, President of the Denizli Chamber of Commerce (DTO), has announced a series of strategic projects aimed at shaping the city’s future over the next 20 years. During a period evaluation meeting, Erdoğan detailed plans to enhance local tourism by introducing night tourism to the Laodikya Ancient City through specialized lighting, a project developed in collaboration with the South Aegean Development Agency.

Other key initiatives include the construction of a new modern DTO service building and the establishment of a Technology Development Center (TEKMER) in the Bereketler neighborhood. To support industrial growth, the chamber plans to develop new recycling and mixed food industrial sites covering approximately 1,200 acres.

Erdoğan also highlighted efforts to reduce bureaucracy by integrating various support offices under one roof and transitioning member services to a 24/7 digital platform. Following his presentation, Erdoğan announced his candidacy for re-election in the upcoming chamber elections scheduled for October 5.
