Denizli Metropolitan Municipality continues online food aid program

The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is expanding its social solidarity network through an ongoing food parcel support program. In addition to routine distributions that have reached tens of thousands of families, the municipality has implemented an online application system to assist citizens with specific needs.

To qualify for the online support, applicants must reside within the Denizli provincial borders and have a household income not exceeding two minimum wages. Eligible groups include citizens over the age of 55, individuals with spouses in prison, those with disability reports, and persons who can document special circumstances such as privacy or protection orders.

Applications can be submitted digitally via the municipality’s official website, allowing for home delivery of essential food packages. This system is designed to assist those with mobility issues or those who cannot apply in person due to security or privacy reasons. Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that the project aims to alleviate the burden on citizens during difficult economic conditions and ensure no one is left alone or helpless.
