Denmark beats Ukraine 2-1 in friendly at Odense

Denmark defeated Ukraine 2-1 in an international friendly held at Odense Isstadion. Patrick Dorgu opened the scoring in the 13th minute, Joakim Maehle added a second in the 36th, and Viktor Tsygankov answered for Ukraine in the 44th minute.

The match was interrupted in the 64th minute after Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed on the field. The Danish federation issued an initial reassuring update on his condition. The friendly came after both sides missed out on World Cup qualification and was used to evaluate young talent and build momentum for future tournaments.
