Denmark house sales reach near‑record high in June

In June 2024, 5,781 villas and townhouses were sold across Denmark, a 13 % rise from May and 7 % above June 2023, making it the third‑highest monthly volume in Boligsiden’s records after the peak years 2020 and 2021.

Sales rose in nine of eleven regions; South Jutland set a regional June record with 858 transactions, the highest since the database began in 2011. Analysts cite strong employment, solid private finances and limited supply as drivers of the increased activity and rising house prices.
