Denmark's DSB rail service set to normalize as track work nears completion
After weeks of delays and bus replacements, track work on Vestfyn and the Slagelse‑Ringsted line is close to finishing. Banedanmark confirmed that the sections will be ready by 16 August, allowing regular regional and intercity trains to run again. Service between Odense and Fredericia, as well as the fast connection to Copenhagen, is expected to return to normal schedules.
On Monday morning, several DSB services were cancelled, including train 5600 (Skanderborg – Aarhus), train 5607 (Aarhus – Herning) and train 5604 (Skanderborg – Aarhus), as announced by the operator on its website.
