Denpasar Immigration Detainment Center deports eight foreign nationals

The Denpasar Immigration Detainment Center (Rudenim) has deported eight foreign nationals from five different countries, including Russia, India, Nigeria, the United States, and Bulgaria, between September 30 and October 7, 2026.

The deportations were prompted by various violations, such as overstaying visas, lacking valid travel documents, involvement in prostitution, and failing to pay for meals at restaurants. Notably, two Russian nationals, a 36-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter, were deported after being found to have overstayed their Visas on Arrival by 318 days.

Additionally, two Iranian nationals, aged 47 and 71, were deported on October 9 following their involvement in a suspected hypnosis-based theft at Bajera Market in Tabanan. Their actions were captured on CCTV and circulated on social media, causing public concern.
