Denver Nuggets begin NBA training camp in Boulder

The Denver Nuggets have commenced their NBA training camp in Boulder. During the initial sessions, players reported high energy levels, though head coach David Adelman noted that execution was somewhat lacking due to mistakes and players playing too fast, which is typical for the first day of camp.

Nikola Jokić indicated that he is closely observing new players, paying attention to their interactions with coaches and their overall reactions during workouts.

Cam Whitmore, who signed a two-way contract this offseason, was highlighted by Adelman as a standout performer during the first day. While the coach emphasized that Whitmore needs to simplify his game and improve defensively to secure a consistent rotation spot, he noted the player's incredible athletic profile.
