Depok authorities seize nearly 2,000 bottles of illegal alcohol

The Depok City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) conducted raids across three districts—Cilodong, Cimanggis, and Pancoran Mas—following community reports regarding the widespread sale of illegal alcohol.

During the operation, officials seized 1,972 bottles of various alcoholic beverages from six different shops. Authorities noted that the vendors used a deceptive tactic by operating under the guise of traditional herbal medicine (jamu) shops to camouflage the sale of liquor.
