Depok Murder Suspect Saepul Arrested as Search Continues for Victim’s Missing Leg

On 4 August 2026 the body of 51‑year‑old Kusnaefi (initials K) was discovered in Pancoran Mas, Depok, West Java. The victim was found without clothing, hands bound, and both legs severed at the thighs; the remains were initially mistaken for trash. Police identified 26‑year‑old Saepul (also known as Saepul alias Saepullah) as the suspect and arrested him in Panimbang, Pandeglang, Banten on 5 August 2026.

Investigators have been searching the Kali Licin stream in Pancoran Mas for the missing leg fragments that the suspect said he discarded on 23 July 2026. Joint police teams, including K9 units, have faced strong currents and heavy rain, and the leg pieces have not yet been recovered.
