Descendants: Wicked Wonderland premiere spotlights Disney cast and Rita Ora's sheer gown

The world premiere of Disney Channel’s “Descendants: Wicked Wonderland” was held on July 14‑16, 2026 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. The event featured the return of series regulars Brandy Norwood (Cinderella), Rita Ora (Queen of Hearts), Kylie Cantrall (Red) and Malia Baker (Chloe), along with newcomers such as Alexandro Byrd, who plays Luis Madrigal, the son of Luisa from Encanto.

Rita Ora attracted particular attention in a custom sheer red gown designed by Vietnamese designer Do Long, with the actress’s husband, director Taika Waititi, assisting her on the carpet. Brandy and Ora also teased a new duet titled “The Girl I Used to Be.” The cast discussed the film’s plot, which follows Red and Chloe as they confront time‑travel consequences. The premiere also highlighted the upcoming “Worlds Collide” concert tour that will bring the franchise’s stars to arenas across North America later in the fall.
