Descendants: Wicked Wonderland premieres on Disney Channel July 16

Disney released the newest installment of its musical fantasy franchise, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, on Thursday, July 16, 2024, on Disney Channel, with streaming on Disney+ beginning Friday, July 17. The film continues the story of Red (Kylie Cantrall) and Chloe Charming (Malia Baker) after they altered the past in Descendants: The Rise of Red, only to unleash a new villain, Maddox Hatter (Leonardo Nam). To rescue the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora), the duo assembles a team that includes Red’s sister Pink (Liamani Segura), Luis Madrigal’s son Luis (Alexandro Byrd), Captain Hook’s daughter Hazel (Kiara Romero), and Maddox’s son Max (Brendon Tremblay).

The movie features returning cast members Brandy Norwood as Cinderella, Paolo Montalban as King Charming, and new voices such as Awkwafina as Chessy the Cat. Directed by Kimmy Gatewood and co‑executive produced by Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh, the feature is part of Disney’s ongoing Descendants series and will be available for on‑demand viewing on Disney+ after its broadcast debut.
