Deshundre Vinson charged in death of 4-year-old nephew

Deshundre Vinson, a former contestant on ‘America’s Got Talent’ and member of the R&B group CitiLimitz, has been arrested in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He faces one count of first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated child abuse.

The charges stem from the death of his four-year-old nephew, who drowned at an apartment complex swimming pool on August 16. According to reports, police arrived at the scene while responding to a separate incident and discovered CPR being administered to the unconscious child. The boy was hospitalized in a pediatric intensive care unit for five days before passing away.

Vinson was arrested on September 2, and his bond has been set at $750,000. His next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8.
