Detective Precure franchise expands with new film, TV episodes, and theme‑park event in Japan

A special interview with voice actress Ikumi Hasegawa revealed the long‑kept identity of Cure Eclair (Kurea Hoha) in the anime series "Detective Precure!". The interview discussed her first audition, recording experiences and her reaction to finally being credited.

The series' TV broadcast continued with episode 25, which disclosed Cure Eclair’s true form, and episode 26, where a pendant on Kurea releases a brilliant blue light during a battle against the rogue entity Usno Noir.

A trailer for the upcoming theatrical film "Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and Two Secrets" was released, promoting a September 18, 2026 nationwide release. The film follows protagonist Anya Akechi and friends as they time‑travel to 1999, confront the Phantom thieves, and introduce new characters such as Cure Alcana Shadow.

From August 1 to September 23, 2026, a collaboration event with Tobu World Square will run across its six zones, offering exclusive "Purikyū" figurines, themed key‑chains, special desserts, and interactive activities tied to the film and series.
