Detective Precure! reveals new Cure Arcana form and 2026 live event

The anime series ‘Detective Precure!’ has introduced significant plot developments and character evolutions. In episode 29, titled ‘Two Pasts,’ the backstory of characters Crea and Ruruka was revealed, set in London three years prior. The episode explored the historical relationship between humans and fairies, noting that humans eventually lost faith in them.

Character transformations were a major highlight, specifically the emergence of ‘Cure Arcana.’ Previously appearing as the antagonist ‘Cure Arcana Shadow’ with a black-based design, the character has undergone a form change to a white-based design. Additionally, the ‘Star Kiraling Form’ was unveiled for Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana, featuring a design by Akane Yano.

Regarding live events, ‘Detective Precure! LIVE 2026’ is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Pacifico Yokohama. The event will feature two performances: ‘Hirameki Day’ and ‘Mystery Night.’ New visual assets and merchandise lineups, including a second round of mail-order sales, have been announced for the concert.
