Detective Pretty Cure! reveals episode 31 plot details
The anime series ‘Detective Pretty Cure!’ has released a synopsis and preview images for its 31st episode, titled ‘Detective Cure Arcana,’ which is set to air on August 30.
In the upcoming episode, the characters Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, and Cure Eclair face the overwhelming power of Eclipse Shadow. The plot reveals the true intentions of Ruruka, who has transformed into Eclipse Shadow. According to the character Mashtan, Ruruka intends to crush Kurea's Makoto Jewel and erase her memories of being a detective and a Pretty Cure, allowing her to live a normal life as a pastry chef.
Eclipse Shadow also makes claims regarding Cure Eclair, stating that her eyes contain the same star as Uso Noir and referencing a legend that those with stars in their eyes will become kings. Despite the perceived ‘kindness’ of Ruruka's plan, Anna and Mikuru reject the idea and transform once more to support Kurea.
