Detran-MS launches consultation for driving instructors

The State Transit Department of Mato Grosso do Sul (Detran-MS) has launched a collaborative initiative to prepare for an upcoming Technical Alignment Workshop between driving instructors and examiners. To ensure the workshop addresses practical daily demands, the agency has released an anonymous form for its 1,433 accredited instructors to share their field experiences.

The initiative aims to standardize interpretations of recent regulatory changes, clarify operational doubts, and strengthen the partnership between instructors and examiners. The feedback process focuses on four key areas: evaluation criteria, routes and maneuvers, mapping of specific exam locations or intersections, and the distinction between pedagogical practice and formal examinations.

Contributions will be analyzed by the Detran-MS technical team and shared with the Association of Transit Instructors of MS (AITMS), which is partnering in the workshop's organization. Emerson Tiogo, the agency's Training Manager, stated that the anonymity of the form is intended to encourage sincere feedback to improve the quality of driver training.
