Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold charged in Florida kidnapping and robbery case
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold, 23, has been indicted on multiple felony counts after Florida prosecutors say he orchestrated a kidnapping and armed robbery. The alleged plot stemmed from a February theft of more than $245,000 worth of property from an Airbnb he was renting in Largo. Prosecutors allege Arnold directed co‑defendants via text messages to lure three men to an apartment, where they were assaulted at gunpoint, beaten and robbed. Arnold did not enter the apartment himself, but investigators say he coordinated the attack and gave instructions during the hour‑long assault. Two co‑defendants have pleaded guilty, while Arnold pleaded not guilty at his first hearing and remains jailed without bond. He faces up to life in prison if convicted. The Detroit Lions confirmed they are aware of the situation but offered no further comment. Arnold’s management agency denies any involvement, calling the allegations unfounded.
