Terrion Arnold cleared to work out with NFL teams after court denies GPS monitor

Former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold remains a free agent while awaiting trial on eight felony kidnapping and armed‑robbery charges in Florida. He was released on a $1 million bond and placed under house confinement, but a Hillsborough County judge denied prosecutors’ request that he wear a GPS ankle monitor, allowing him to travel for work‑related activities such as NFL workouts.

Arnold’s agent Nicole Lynn testified that four NFL teams have expressed interest: the Houston Texans, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts. The Texans already conducted a private workout, and additional visits with other teams are scheduled. No verbal agreement or contract has been reached, and any signing could still subject Arnold to the league’s Exempt List pending resolution of his criminal case.

If convicted, Arnold faces a potential life sentence. The legal proceedings and his pending free‑agency tour dominate current coverage of the former first‑round pick’s future.
