Deutsche Bahn infrastructure work forces service changes in Mannheim and Stuttgart regions

Extensive track work in the Rhein-Neckar metropolitan area has closed the tram corridor between the Universitätsklinikum and Nationaltheater stations in Mannheim. The closure affects RNV lines 2, 5, 7 and 15, with temporary bus detours and additional stops at nearby stations until further notice.

In the neighboring Baden‑Württemberg region, Deutsche Bahn is carrying out large‑scale construction on the Neckar‑Alb line, resulting in the suspension of several regional services between Stuttgart and Tübingen from 10 July to 8 August. Replacement buses, hourly extra trains on line MEX 12 and altered timetables are being offered to keep commuters mobile. Further disruptions are scheduled on the Neckar‑Alb and Ermstal lines through early September.
