Devina Gehlot Tops CUET 2026, Highlights Discipline Over Cramming

Devina Gehlot, daughter of BJP MLA Kailash Gehlot, achieved All India Rank 1 in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate 2026, earning the highest NTA score nationwide. She said, “I studied every subject every day… regular study is better than long hours of cramming,” emphasizing discipline, daily revision and short breaks.

Gehlot credited her family, teachers and Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj for their support, noting that encouragement helped her overcome early difficulties. Her father posted a celebratory message praising her hard work and the role of her school and mother.

She plans to pursue an honours degree in English, expressing a strong interest in literature, writing and possibly journalism or politics. The National Testing Agency announced the results, noting that 22 candidates scored 100 percentile in three subjects and 180 in two.
