DGIST and K-MEDI Hub partner to advance medical industry

Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) and K-MEDI Hub (Daegu-Gyeongbuk Advanced Medical Industry Foundation) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance South Korea’s medical and biotechnology industries.

The partnership aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of core technologies through joint research, non-clinical testing, and the exchange of professional research personnel. By combining DGIST’s basic science research capabilities with K-MEDI Hub’s advanced medical verification infrastructure, the two institutions intend to create a model for the national bio-medical ecosystem that moves innovation from the laboratory to practical clinical application.
