DHL completes acquisition of Baltic logistics firm Venipak

International logistics company DHL has agreed to acquire 100 % of the Venipak group, which operates parcel‑delivery services in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The deal, pending regulator approval, will make Venipak a unit of DHL eCommerce and integrate its network of about 800 parcel lockers, 25 terminals and roughly 1,000 employees into DHL’s global logistics platform. Former owner Nerijus Raudonis, who held all Venipak shares, will shift his focus to the investment platform Stokex and global asset management. Venipak’s current leadership, including CEO Andrius Ladauskas, will remain in place and the brand will be retained in the Baltic markets. DHL eCommerce head Pablo Ciano said the acquisition will strengthen DHL’s parcel‑delivery network in one of Europe’s fastest‑growing e‑commerce regions and enable customers to access DHL’s worldwide network of over 165 000 pickup points. DHL plans to invest in expanding Venipak’s locker network, increasing sorting capacity at key terminals and upgrading IT infrastructure over the next one to two years.
