DHL acquisition of Baltic logistics firm Venipak

DHL has agreed to acquire 100 % of the Venipak Group, the largest independent parcel operator in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The deal, announced in late July 2026, will bring Venipak’s network of roughly 800 parcel lockers, 25 terminals, about 1,000 employees and 350 independent couriers under DHL eCommerce. The acquisition is subject to standard regulatory approvals, after which Venipak will retain its brand and management team while being integrated into DHL’s global logistics platform.

The purchase aims to strengthen DHL’s parcel‑delivery presence in one of Europe’s fastest‑growing e‑commerce regions, linking Venipak’s local delivery capabilities with DHL’s worldwide transport and fulfillment network. DHL plans to invest in expanding the locker network, increasing sorting capacity at key terminals and upgrading IT infrastructure over the next one to two years. The former owner, Nerijus Raudonis, will focus on his investment platform Stokex, while CEO Pablo Ciano highlighted the move as supporting DHL’s strategic ambition for reliable, convenient and sustainable parcel services across Europe.
