Diablo 4 offers free Steam trial as Last Epoch announces Season 5

The action RPG market is seeing significant updates from major titles. Diablo 4 is currently available for free to play on Steam until Monday, September 21, at 7:00 PM. Players who wish to continue playing after the trial period can purchase the full version at a discounted price of 12.49 euros if they buy before September 24; otherwise, the standard price of 49.99 euros applies. A discount is also available for the game's two DLCs.

Meanwhile, Last Epoch has announced Season 5, titled ‘Rage of the Frostborn,’ which is scheduled for release on October 1, 2026. The new season introduces the ‘Rage of Morditas’ mechanic, involving frozen blood crystals and a ritual system that allows players to refine their loot by removing unwanted items from the reward pool. This update aims to revitalize player numbers following a recent decline in active users on Steam.
