Diamantino to present Municipal Plan of Family and Indigenous Agriculture

The City Hall of Diamantino, through the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture and Environment, has invited the public to the presentation of the Municipal Plan of Family and Indigenous Agriculture (PMAFI). The event is scheduled for October 2 at 8:00 AM at Casa dos Sabores.

The initiative aims to create a space for social participation and dialogue to strengthen family farming and indigenous communities within the municipality. The meeting will bring together family farmers, indigenous representatives, local leaders, and interested residents to discuss demands, experiences, and suggestions for public policy.

Milton Criveletto, the Municipal Secretary of Agriculture and Environment, emphasized that community participation is essential to ensure the plan reflects the actual needs of those working in the field. The project seeks to value local production and contribute to food security under the theme ‘The future of our countryside is built together’.
