Public policy and social programs in Diamantino
Overview
The municipality of Diamantino has initiated several programs aimed at supporting local rural and social development.
In late September, the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture and Environment announced the presentation of the Municipal Plan of Family and Indigenous Agriculture (PMAFI). This initiative seeks to foster social participation and dialogue to strengthen indigenous communities and family farming through the development of public policy.
Following this, the municipality expanded its community outreach through the ‘Construindo Melhorias’ (Building Improvements) program. This program delivered over 200 services to various rural communities, including social assistance, employment services, and the distribution of essential supplies such as food baskets and hygiene products. Additionally, the Municipal Secretariat of Education launched a series of recreational and educational activities for students to celebrate Children's Day.
