DICRIM searches for suspect in Hato Mayor armed robbery

The Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM) of the National Police has launched a search for Víctor Alfonso Pérez, also known as ‘Víctor’, in connection with an armed robbery against businessman Gelson Lester Paulino Solano.

The incident occurred on Saturday, October 3, in the Villa Canto sector of Hato Mayor. According to authorities, several hooded individuals in a vehicle confronted the victim and stole gold jewelry valued at over 200,000 pesos.

Pérez, a 35-year-old from La Romana, is wanted under judicial arrest warrant number 2026-AJ0088075. Police have categorized him as highly dangerous and warned that he may be heavily armed. Following the robbery, a police pursuit extended toward the municipality of Guaymate in La Romana province.
