Diego Meneses speaks after Francisca Cadenas crime reconstruction

Diego Meneses, the widower of Francisca Cadenas, spoke to the press following a six-hour crime scene reconstruction related to the investigation into his wife's murder. Meneses described the day as extremely difficult for his family, stating, “We are all worse than ever.”

Meneses expressed skepticism regarding the testimony of Manuel González, known as “Lolo,” who is one of two brothers under investigation and the only one cooperating with authorities. Meneses claimed that González is the cause of the situation and is attempting to escape responsibility, questioning whether he will finally tell the truth after nine years.

While neighbors expressed their anger toward the suspects during the proceedings, Meneses noted that he did not confront González directly. The reconstruction concluded with the removal of barriers and the reopening of traffic in the area, though officials have not formally confirmed the end of the proceedings.
