DIGIS3 project expands digitalization efforts in Castilla y León

The DIGIS3 project, managed by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICECYL), has concluded its 2023-2026 phase after supporting the digitalization of 187 companies. The economic impact of these actions is valued at 4,529,010 euros, encompassing public subsidies, operational savings, and efficiency improvements.

A new three-year stage of the project has been launched with a budget of 3.29 million euros. The initiative aims to reach over 5,000 organizations in Castilla y León by 2029, offering 1,700 specialized services. Key focus areas include artificial intelligence training for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the ‘Pyme Inteligente’ program, which has already trained 155 students from 144 companies.

The project is part of the Castilla y León European Digital Innovation Hub and includes the University of León as part of its consortium.
