Digital banks Openbank and N26 introduce new savings and investment options

Digital banking entities Openbank and N26 have introduced new products aimed at increasing returns for savers.

Openbank has raised the interest rate on its remunerated account to 3.25% TAE. This product is designed for liquidity, such as emergency funds, providing an annual equivalent return if conditions are met. For a balance of 10,000 euros held for one year, this would result in approximately 325 euros in gross interest before taxes.

N26 has launched a flexible money market fund managed by Fidelity International. The fund, which invests in high-quality short-term debt and bank obligations, offers a target return of 2.57% TAE. Unlike a traditional deposit, this is an investment vehicle with a risk profile of 1 out of 7, featuring a minimum investment of 1 euro and no limits on contributions or withdrawals.
